Gilbert Rohde´s Paldao “Ectoplastic” occasional table for Herman Miller (1941)

One of the pieces from the “Paldao line” named after the Philippine wood known for its strong color contrasts. Produced in 1941 by Herman Miller, it anticipated the biomorphic furniture that was later to become so popular.
